Meet the Committee
Rachel - CHIPTA Chair
At CHIPTA we welcome and value all members. The committee's role is to coordinate the organisation of all CHIPTA activities, meetings, events and liaise with our wonderful network of Class Reps.
Regular events are organised throughout the year, ranging from the sponsored run; the fireworks display; the Christmas and summer fairs, school discos, cake sales and social events. It is a lot of fun working with our dedicated teachers, parents/carers and other staff to raise vital funds for the school.
We plan to create memorable events for the families of Coombe Hill Infants' School, whilst raising much needed funds.
Jessica - CHIPTA Treasurer
As Treasurer of CHIPTA, I am responsible for managing the incomes and expenditures of CHIPTA. This includes counting, banking and reporting on monies made at the various events and paying out any expenses incurred.
Whilst all Committee members have equal responsibility for the control and management of the PTA’s funds, as Treasurer I play an important role in helping the Committee carry out these duties properly.
Helen - CHIPTA Secretary
Helen ensures that the PTA’s events and activities run smoothly by arranging meetings, taking minutes and keeping records of all events.
Izzie - CHIPTA 'Celebrating Diversity' committee lead
Two years ago Izzie, along with a group of other parents, set up the CHIPTA 'Celebrating Diversity' committee, which aims to include ALL parents from across the school in CHIPTA events and the life of the school. There are regular 'Celebrating Diversity' meetings to discuss ways in which the school can continue to be as inclusive as possible to every family in our community. There are also regular, informal group walks arranged in Richmond Park where everyone is welcome to come along for a chat and a walk in the fresh air (dogs and younger children welcome too!)
